 Pope Benedict XVI dedicates the new altar at St Mary's Cathedral When Pope Benedict XVI dedicated the new altar at St Mary's Cathedral and celebrated Mass for seminarians and other young religious people this morning, he took the occasion to make a public apology to the victims of sexual abuse by clergy in Australia.
