 Five hundred million people around the globe watched a reverent reenactment of the Stations of the Cross through the streets of Sydney as part of World Youth Day celebrations on July 18.

{mosimageAls Papst Benedikt XVI vom Deck seiner Fähre 'Sydney 2000' abgetreten war, versammelten sich Tausende Pilger diesen Nachmittag in Barangaroo und riefen in Sprechchören 'Viva il Papa', wobei begeistert Fahnen geschwungen wurden. Der Papst ist nun offiziell empfangen worden.
